01 · the short version

What is this thing?

AQ Foodhall needed more than a website that looked good. The site had to communicate what the venue actually is, help people discover food and events, support venue hire and make the entire place feel like somewhere worth visiting.

the problem

What needed fixing?

The challenge was balancing a lot of information without making the experience feel like a directory. Food, vendors, events, venue hire and the wider AQ ecosystem all needed their own space while still feeling like one brand.

the approach

What I actually did.

I focused on creating a visual experience that makes the food and atmosphere do most of the talking. Strong typography, editorial layouts, responsive sections and clear paths into food, events and venue information keep the experience easy to navigate.

04 · okay, but did it work?

The structured semantic HTML and rigorous technical SEO strategy resulted in the platform ranking #1 on Google for over 12 non-branded, high-intent keywords, driving significant organic footfall to the physical location without relying on paid ads.

my take

I focused on creating a visual experience that makes the food and atmosphere do most of the talking. Strong typography, editorial layouts, responsive sections and clear paths into food, events and venue information keep the experience easy to navigate.
